Why use Alpaca Fleece for Birds?

• Alpaca fleece is incredibly soft, warm, and lightweight, making it perfect for lining nests to protect eggs and chicks

• Alpaca fleece will help to regulate nest temperature, keeping the eggs and chicks safe from shifting thermals

• The fleece wicks moisture away from the eggs and chicks if it gets wet

• Safe and natural - chemical-free and does NOT attract predators

How to use a Bird Nesting Ball?

• Hang the ball(s) in a tree, near a bird feeder, or in a shrub from late July in preparation for the spring nesting season

• A variety of birds will pull out tufts of the alpaca fleece for their nests

• The nesting ball can be refilled and reused year after year
